Check out Very Purple Person's blog Sew I do. We "met" on BurdaStyle. Her work is beautiful as is her photography. She makes great clothes and accessories for her son and herself. I've always admired her work, she always uses such great fabric and has a great sense of color and style. Have fun looking around :).

Here are a couple projects that I've been working on with a couple more to come. The bunny, a wee bunny of course, was a birthday present for one of four girls who always wear a flower in their hair, so of course her little bunny needed one too. The Bob and Larry pillow was a birthday present for a Veggie Tales obsessed two-year old. The pillow is being well loved. I loved making the pillow. I've been wanting to play with, what I'm calling, felt illustration for a long time now. It was really fun for me to draw out my templates and sew on all the layers. I'm working on an elephant pillow now that is almost complete and there will definitely be more to come.
I'm back from what seemed like an eternity of being cut-off from the outside, or at least online, world. Ok so maybe an eternity is an exaggeration but a few weeks can certainly feel like one. Here is my beautiful new MacBook and it is wonderfully wireless. My former white beauty was a sunflower iMac and unfortunately not wireless (its going on 6). My sewing room/office has now become my son's bedroom and I was sent to the basement where there is no cable connection. Therein lied the problem. Thanks to my husband problem solved with this sweet little machine. I thought I would miss my former 24" screen terribly but my new 13" is strangely sufficient. I'm lovin' it!
