An introduction to hook and yarn.

So I haven't started on the mobile yet. I got a little distracted with a crochet hook. One of my dear friends from childhood sent me a couple of knitted cotton bibs for my new babe. They are fantastic and so cute that I knew I must have more for my little spit-up king (Thank you Kara for the inspiration). My sister learned to crochet a few months ago and I asked her to pass on the knowledge. With her help and some YouTube videos I've completed my first project! I restarted it a couple times but the third time was a charm and it came together quite nicely. I just used a single crochet stitch for the entire thing and made up my own pattern and design. I love the pop of color that the oversized button gives. This is bib #1 of hopefully a set of 3. I'm pretty confident that bib 2 and 3 will go more quickly than the first. I'm really happy with how it turned out and little Henry looks pretty happy too :).

Henry is so precious! You did a great job on the bib. I just can't get the hang of crochet. I think it has something to do with being left-handed, so I'll just stick to knitting!
